How did I become a psychologist ?
It all began in my early twenties, when I was working internationally as the manager of a small team. This first professional experience confronted me with the complexity of human relationships and the psychological dynamics that underlie them.
Gradually, my interest in mental health deepened. I chose to begin my own personal psychotherapy, particularly around issues related to serious illness and migration. This demanding yet formative process marked a turning point in my journey.
When I moved to Mallorca, at the same time as I entered parenthood, I decided to pursue a professional career change in order to fully commit to becoming a psychologist.
Today, I am a psychologist and psychotherapist. I work in private practice in Mallorca and online, in French, English, and Spanish. Informed by both my personal and professional path, I particularly support individuals facing challenges related to parenting, serious illness and grief, as well as the impact of psychological trauma.
My approach is integrative...
What does that mean?
I use tools from several branches of psychology to adapt to each individual.
My main references are :
Humanistic and existential approaches :
authenticity and empathy as the basis of the therapeutic relationship.Psychological trauma and EMDR :
reprocessing difficult and traumatic experiences in order to reduce their emotional impact and promote lasting relief.Attachment theories :
understanding early relationships and their impact on our bonds.Transcultural psychology :
taking into account cultural heritage, cultural diversity and migration.Psychocorporal approaches :
integrating the body, breathing and movement into the therapeutic process.
What is my educational background
and professional experience ?
Expertise at the intersection of illness and grief, psychological trauma and parenting.
